We are deeply committed to local performing arts in Burbank. Since our founding 38 years ago by Tom Ormeny, Maria Gobetti, and a dedicated group of theatre artists and volunteers, we have focused on nurturing new talent and presenting innovative work. In 1997, with the support of our board of directors, we purchased our property, solidifying The Victory Theatre Center as a permanent home for the arts.
Over the years, we have produced more than 100 plays and 85 dramaturgical workshops. Over 80% of these productions were previously unproduced new plays. Many of these works went on to larger venues, highlighting the impact of local arts programs and our commitment to fostering emerging talent.
Our Theatres
We operate two distinct performance spaces to suit different needs.
Big Victory is our larger theatre. It is ideal for bigger performances and multi-use events, offering a versatile space for productions that require more room and technical capability.
Little Victory is our smaller, intimate theatre. It brings the audience close to the action, creating a personal and immersive experience. Both spaces allow artists to connect deeply with their audience, whether through large-scale productions or intimate storytelling.
